Golfers from across Warrington are being invited to take part in a charity golf day this September to help raise vital funds for Warrington Foodbank.
The Warrington Foodbank Golf Day 2026 will take place on Friday, September 4, at Birchwood Golf Club, bringing together businesses, friends and families for a day of golf, fundraising and community spirit.
Organisers are encouraging teams of all abilities to enter, with the event designed to appeal to both experienced golfers and those simply looking to enjoy a day on the course while supporting a worthwhile local cause.
The day will begin with breakfast, tea and coffee from 11am, before a 1pm shotgun start. Following the golf, players will enjoy dinner and have the opportunity to take part in a charity raffle.
Teams of four can enter for £360, with organisers encouraging individuals to invite friends, family members, neighbours or work colleagues to make up a team.
Businesses can also support the event through sponsorship packages, with a team entry and hole sponsorship available for £450, or hole sponsorship only costing £100.
Funds raised from the event will help Warrington Foodbank continue providing emergency food parcels and practical support to local people facing financial hardship and crisis.
Places can be booked online via the event registration page, and organisers are hoping for a strong turnout from the local community for what promises to be a day of friendly competition, good food and fundraising.
