Rugby League starlets go back to their old school

THREE former students who are now part of the Warrington Wolves RL Academy went back to their old school’s sports day celebration ceremony.
Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School welcome back Karlton Bates (Class of 2017) and Dean Beddall (Class of 2018) who are now playing for the U19s Wolves team and Harry James (Class of 2018) who0 is knocking on the door of U19 selection and currently training on the CAT3 programme at Priestley College.
The three talked to current students about their experiences, about success and failure and why it is important to keep believing and working hard.
Botelerís sports day was a great success in terms of participation, competition and enjoyment.
Director of sport and performance Chris Burbidge thanked parents for providing refreshments on the day and also the Bowmen of Warrington archery club and pupils from Latchford St James CE Primary for helping out on the day.
He said: ìLinks like these are vital to provide young people with development outside the classroom and they reach different children in ways that other aspects of school life might not and help to complete a childís educational experiences at school.
ìFor the third year running, Boteler students smashed school records that have been held for some time ñ a testament to their hard work and application in PE and Sport.î
